Dear rp partners:

I’m sorry for being such a shitty partner. I take ages to respond and most of it isn’t worth the wait and you get to it almost instantly. I get absorbed by things and neglect others.

Thank you for sticking with me. I love you.

“Despite the name they do more then just cheesecake, though it is really good. One piece is roughly four or five inches thick. Prepare to take food home with you though. It seems pricey and then they bring the food out and you discover that they’re actually feeding you for the next three days.” Roy returned the grin with one of his own, “Great to hear!”

Kat couldn’t help but give a bit of a laugh at the amount of food you got for the price, especially with how Roy had phrased the statement, “Well I guess in my case that’ll be a good thing, I may not have to hunt down a place to eat for a bit.” Kat nodded, enjoying the grin her comment had earned, “Mmhm! The thought of leaving has almost become something saddening. It’s almost tempting to stay.”

“Well you’ll hear no objection from me if you do. I love this city. And it’s been fun playing tour guide.” He tipped his head in her direction in acknowledgement. “Though if you do have to fly maybe you could make this a well used rest stop?”

Kat chuckled, “You’ve been an outstanding tour guide Roy. What I’m thankful for is that there isn’t much at all holding me down in Gotham, so if I decide to leave I’d just have to go back to pick up a few belongings I wouldn’t of brought on a vacation.” She gave a bit of a grin, “It’s just been so lovely here, and I’ve never felt so at peace with myself.”

“Any furniture? Or would you be looking for a furnished place? If you stayed that is.” He corrected himself a bit embarrassed. Roy looked out at the city, lacing his fingers behind his head. “Star’s good for that. When they built the place they really paid attention to the little things. I’m pretty sure we have the smallest supervillian population of any of the major cities. And what we do have is cleaned up by Green Arrow.”

“If I can afford it, a furnished place, even if it’s small. Despite being a resident of Gotham I’m used to a hotel room if even.” She chuckled softly, watching him without even really noticing she was doing so. “They really did. There is so much to discover about it. It’s a breath of fresh air, and of course, there is the sun.” She gestured up to the sky with a grin, “Green Arrow seems to do a good job of it. I’ve barely heard a peep compared to a night in Gotham.”

“Should swing by the information kiosk at City Hall. I think there’s a group that got together and keeps track of all the housing in the city.” He shrugged apologetically, “I’m sorry not to be more help on that specifically.” Roy met her eyes with another small smile, “It is. The thunderstorms rolling in off the bay are a sight to see too. I don’t think I’d do well in Gotham. I’d probably wilt.” A few steps later he continued, “He’s got help. Seems there’s a whole Arrow family in town these days.”

“Might be able to help with that, depending on what your skills are. Find a job, find an apartment, hang out in the best city in the world.” The smile stretched across his face as he watched her reaction to the hidden section of the city. “Apartments like these are well worth it. The studios on the top floor have sky lights and everyone has access to the roof which usually has a garden. Should take you up one of the higher buildings to get a good look if you want?”

“My skills? They’re nothing too special. I’m a bit of a tech nerd, acrobatic skills, I’m good at digging up information. Recovery of people or items. It’s a pretty out there skill set. Gets me work back in Gotham though.” she chuckled, despite the skill set, she was proud of what she could do, even if she tried to keep the name Felide out of the public eye. “This place, is seriously awesome.” She glanced back at Roy and nodded, “I’d love to.” A rooftop garden was something completely unheard of in Gotham. Unless of course Ivy had something to do with it.

He chuckled, “You sound like a private detective.” The skill set was peculiar on a civilian though. To him it sounded perfect but there was no way to approach the conversation that wouldn’t sound weird or suspicious. “Alright then, rooftop it is. This way.” The ginger lead her on a sharp turn down the next alley and leaping up snagged the bottom of a fire escape ladder, bringing it to the ground with his weight. Shimmying up it quickly he leaned a foot on the top to make sure it wouldn’t rise before she got hold of it.

I am so sorry.

Pick an age or point on the character's timeline, and ask a question. The character will respond as that age.
